Last night I was hangin on Pinterest….lookee louin around for my next project! I am addicted to finding just the right appetizers, and I am always on a mission for that Holy Grail of a dish to wow my friends with! I noticed so many food links popping up in my DIY section! I have to say they were some of the most creative ideas in party food I have found in a long time, so I thought I would share some of the recipe blog links with you!
Holiday Party Treats
First up is the Fourth of July Strawberries from The Sisters Cafe. They are so cute and super easy. I would modify them with green sugar on the tips for Christmas, and maybe orange sugar tips for a Halloween Candy Corn look!
This wreath from Free Fun Christmas is so simple as well…who hasn’t made mini sausage or hot dogs for a get together! This is just rearranging the dogs to make a wreath! Definitely gonna do this one!
These marshmallows from Betty Crocker Wantbe are a great alternative to the cake pops we are seeing everywhere. I have yet to attempt to make the cake pops but, to me this would be an easier alternative. Kinda scared of the cake ball thing…..lol!
These yummy looking cookies from Delightful Bitefuls are made with Nutella!!! Now I am not sure if I am the only one…but I have seen Nutella on TV for years and just never tried it. But now all of a sudden my daughter can’t get enough of this creamy chocolate goodness. Her school started giving it to them as an option to other hot lunches if they didn’t like what was being served. Gotta try these!
And last but not least, are these cute and creative little guys from Pinterest board by Brown Paper Packages, the recipe is from Kraft Food & Family Magazine. What an easy way to make cookies for a cookie exchange!
