Orange & Navy Wall Art Upcycle Makeover

Orange Blue Home Decor Entryway Makeover Upcycle madeinaday.comHi guys! Today is the second Thrift Store Decor Upcycle! I’ve teamed up with 19 of my favorite bloggers for a monthly challenge to make something fantastic out of something thrifted!

I found these two watercolor canvases and thought they would be perfect to makeover. The canvases were in great shape and the hardware was almost new.

Lately I’ve been addicted to blue and and orange everything, just take a look at my blog colors this Spring. So when I saw these pics I knew I could add some colorful paint to perk these guys up. Let’s do a makeover!!

I hung them over my hall tree to brighten up my entryway for summer and they came out so fun. I love the color pop when you walk in the door! Who knew those two dingy pic’s could look so amazing!

  1. Great project! I admit the hat and bag really visually drew me in, though…. 🙂 Must try an epicycle myself.

Also just wanted to point out your image misspells the word “upcycle” and says “upcyce” instead.

  2. You made it look so easy! I love that you simply repainted the design rather than start from scratch. My mantra is work smarter, not harder. Orange is a fun color for summer!
