Are handmade gifts what you are looking for, then this site is for you! There are so many original items to choose from, you can find a great selection of them listed here.
Here are a couple of my favorites!
This store is truly one of my favorites and let me tell you why! UncommonGoods is a privately-owned retailer that features unique designs and handcrafted gifts created in harmony with the environment and without harm to animals or people. Their mission is to support and provide a platform for artists and designers, half of what they sell is made by hand and most of the products are created right here in the USA. One-third of their entire collection incorporates recycled and/or upcycled materials. Their company has a great respect for the integrity of the creative individual and believes in using their business to impact the world in a positive way.
What makes UncommonGoods so great is they are an independently owned business, this allowed them to create the Better to Give Program to give something back on every sale they make. They have donated over $700,000 to charities around the world. For each purchase made on UncommonGoods, they donate $1 to the non-profit of your choice. Pretty impressive!
But what I love the most about UncommonGoods is the Product Design and Art Challenges. These challenges allow artists to submit their items to be voted on to win a chance to be sold on the UncommonGoods website. How cool is that, they also have periodic admissions to submit your goods as well. No wonder UncommonGoods has such great content and unique products. They come from some truly amazing artists!
