Halloween is my all-time fav holiday! I get a little crazy around this time of year. I have so much fun inventing new decor to haunt my house. I made these Faux Pumpkin Topiaries some time back. They aren’t just any topiaries, I made them with one side cute with pretty stripes and the other side is all spooky and scary!

They are so fun! So I kept the sweet cute sides up in the house until just before Halloween! Then you turn them around to scare the kiddies on the big night!

This is one of my first posts being a blogger, I apologize for the grainy images or lack of tutorial images. The topiaries are still on of my favorite props to decorate with. Here’s my how I made them~

Faux Pumpkin Topiary

Supplies:

Instructions:

Cut the tops off of the two middle and two bottom pumpkins with a sharp knife. Drill holes in the bottom center of the bottom and middle pumpkins. Paint the pumpkins with all the designs by hand with black acrylic paint.  Let them dry. Apply the “P” monogrammed letter to the middle pumpkin.

Hot glue the black tulle and the feather boa to the top edges of the two bottom pumpkins. Feed the dowel through the holes to hold them together. Hot glue floral foam into the urn. Stick the end of the dowel into the foam in the urn so it is secure. Add you moss and you are done!
