Gold Feather Stocking #fabulouslyfestive

Since feathers are so popular this year, I thought I would share my Gold Feather Stocking as my first project as part of the JoAnn Fabrics Celebrate the Season Campaign. This is a super easy project to make for an elegant mantle or it would make a great gift for that special someone on your list this year. Here’s how to make it! #fabulouslyfestive #

Feather Stocking

All materials found at JoAnn Fabrics Craft Store:

  • Holiday Inspirations Cable Knit Stocking
  • Gold glitter feather pick
  • Gold holly & berries pick
  • Floral wire, wire cutter, needle and thread.

Unfold the top of the stocking and measure the length of your feather to trim the stem. Trim your holly to the base of the pick leaving a small stem.

Trim Stems w: wire cuttersWrap the feather and holly with floral wire to secure them together.

Bind stems w: Floral WireSew the feather/ holly pick to the top of the stocking.

sew floral stems to stockingFold the top of the stocking down and hang it on your mantle! Super easy and so pretty!
