+ Merry Monday Linky Party
Being a DIY and Craft Blogger, my office seems to be in just about every room in my home. From having to gravitate to the bright areas to take pictures, out to my garage for tools and then finally my workroom. My actual office is in the middle of my workroom. I have a desk surrounded by bookcases and cubbies full of just about every craft supply you could think of. Now don’t get me wrong I love being in the middle of all my supplies, but boy is it a mess by the end of the week.
I was asked by the team at Wayfair.com to put together a mood board I created on their site to reflect exactly what my dream office would look like if I had a separate workroom and could create a beautiful relaxing space to do my creative writing.
Here are my picks for my New Year New Room Spring Home Office~
Lets start with the focal point of the room, the desk. I love this beautiful white Melly Writing Desk with gold legs. It is so glamorous and pretty to me. I can totally see myself sitting here. Even in pajamas I would be glamorous!
Shepard Office Chair
Next up is this Shepard Office Chair. I love the tufted back and the snazzy nail heads on the edge of this beauty. These little details make this office chair so elegant. Although I think I would want it in white for this room refresh.
I fell for this 4 Shelf Stand because of the gold metal accents. What a great way to bring some glam to your office. I would need two of these one for each side of my desk.
To pull everything together I chose this Karma Blue Area Rug. A black shag would go with this group as well.
Keeping with the gold theme in the room, I added in this Christopher Table Lamp for added charm.
I like the idea of using the Nephrite Trays on the desk for organizing papers instead of normal office type holders. I think they just add a certain elegance to the room.
And last but not least, I knew when I saw this “It all in Your Head Graphic” that it would be perfect for my office! Since everything I do is all in my head what an interesting piece of art to gaze on while trying to come up with the new next best thing.
I am really happy with how my Glamorous Office Inspiration Board came out. Now if only I could find a place around here to actually create it. I would love to have a beautiful work space that’s free of paint, supplies and glue to reflect and plan my projects. I hope I have inspired you to create you own beautiful and private work space. Until Next time!~
