Instructions
Wash, dry and remove stems from apples.

Insert skewers into each apple.
In a medium saucepan, combine sugar, corn syrup, and 6 drops of both colors of food colorings.
Bring sugar mixture to a boil, stiring constantly to dissolve sugar.
Cook until thermometer reaches 290-300 F.
Remove from heat. Wait until bubbles slow and sauce thinkens.
Dip apples and swirl mixture to coat all sides.
Place coated apple on wax paper. Store in refrigerator.
