Take a golf ball sized piece of white fondant and roll it around on a cutting board or clean flat surface to make is soft and pliable.
Roll the fondant out until it is 1/8 in thick using a rolling pin.
Using a knife, cut the fondant into squares (the width of the cookies).
TIP: To measure the square fondant more accurately, place a wafer on top of the fondant and cut along both sides of the fondant with a knife, into strips. Turn the wafer sideways across the fondant and cut into squares
Dip your finger into the water to wet it and apply it to one side of the fondant.
Place the wet side of the fondant square down onto the middle of the cookie and press it gently to adhere it to the cookie.
Squeeze a small amount of red gel food coloring onto the fondant to make it look like a dirty Band-Aid!
Place on a platter and serve on Halloween!
Notes
If you can't find fondant, you can find a recipe for it online, or use white frosting. It won’t look as neat, but it will do the trick.Be careful not use a lot of water on the fondant, or it may get too sticky.
