box of chocolate cake mix or your favorite recipe
Eggs
oil & water for cake mix
Chocolate frosting in the can or your favorite recipe
Frosting piping pastry bag with a frosting tip
Fresh mint leaves on stems
Instructions
Mix up the cake mix in a bowl according to the directions on the box.
Bake cupcakes in the oven per recipe or box directions for cupcakes and cool on a wire rack completely.
Top each cupcake with piped frosting.
Crumble up a few of the cupcakes to sprinkle on for the “soil”.
Cover the frosting with the crumb soil.
Place a mint leaf stem in the center of each cupcake to represent a seedling
