Ingredients
  

  • 1 box of chocolate cake mix or your favorite recipe
  • Eggs oil & water for cake mix
  • Chocolate frosting in the can or your favorite recipe
  • Frosting piping pastry bag with a frosting tip
  • Fresh mint leaves on stems

Instructions
 

  • Mix up the cake mix in a bowl according to the directions on the box.
  • Bake cupcakes in the oven per recipe or box directions for cupcakes and cool on a wire rack completely.
  • Top each cupcake with piped frosting.
  • Crumble up a few of the cupcakes to sprinkle on for the “soil”.
  • Cover the frosting with the crumb soil.
  • Place a mint leaf stem in the center of each cupcake to represent a seedling
