Add global touches to your tree this year with this painted Gold Bell Garland! Use paint pens and satin cording to create a Christmas gold rustic bell garland. Want more fun projects like this? See my Christmas page.
These fun vintage bells have been a decor trend throughout the years and now they are making a comeback for Christmas! You will usually find them on global wind chimes or door hangers.
This year I want to add a little bit of boho rustic to my sparse glam champagne themed tree I bought last year.
This is a super simple craft. All you need are a great set of good paint pens, satin cording, and rusted vintage bells to make this fun garland. I am going to make a couple of ornaments out of these bells in my next post. So stay tuned.
Grab your paint pens and let’s get started!
Vintage Painted Gold Bell Garland
Supplies:
- 12 Vintage Rustic Bells: 2 inch
- Mini Vintage Brass Bells: 1 inch
- Paint Pens
- Satin Cording: Gold Bronze
Instructions:
Use a white paint pen to draw snowflakes and other tribal designs on all of the bells. I used a light green pen and creme colored pen to accent on some of the bells.
Cut 15 feet of cording and tie a loop on one end for the holder. String one bell at a time, tying each one in a double knot 5-6 inches apart. Tie off the other end with a loop to hang it.
I am so thrilled with how this turned out! It was so easy to put together and really looks so on-trend right now. These bells will look so cute on my tree!
You took the bells to a whole new level Kim. Love the tribal/boho touch you gave them so very much
Kim you did a fabulous job, the bells are just adorable.
