It’s time to haunt the house yall! Halloween is getting closer and I couldn’t be happier. I whipped up this freaky zombie door hanger for my front door. Isn’t she awesome?
With a little help from Oriental Trading Company, I am going to show you how to take a Halloween Ground Breaker character and turn it into a creepy door hanger.
Next, I added a couple more scary goodies to create a spooky scene. I promise this is sure to scare the wits out of the kiddies on Halloween night.
Startling Halloween Zombie Door Hanger Prop
Supplies:
- Ground Breaker Zombie Prop
- Frame: size 15 x 13 inch
- Chicken wire ribbon
- Floral wire
- Wire cutters
- Hot glue & gun
- Staple gun
Instructions:
Cut a piece of chicken wire ribbon to match the width of your frame.
Secure the wire ribbon to the center of your frame with a staple gun.
Place the head of the groundbreaker slightly slanted on the wire ribbon. Use floral wire and poke holes through the foam prop head. Wrap around the wire ribbon and twist to tighten and secure the foam head.
Hot glue the zombie hands to the outside of the frame. Turn on your creeper and hang it on your door for the big night! So simple and waaay creepy!
Loving this Animated Owl. He has a spooky laugh and flaps his wings.

Omgee, she is awesome sauce! Totally goes with our Walking Dead theme this year. Well, we’re not really decorating for Halloween, but we’re doing a WD party instead and she would make the perfect party decor.
