Of course, no BBQ party would be complete without plenty of delicious food. From colorful desserts and snacks to festive drinks and appetizers, patriotic treats always add a fun touch to the table.

Whether you’re planning a large gathering or a simple family cookout, these ideas will help you pull together a celebration that’s festive, fun, and stress-free. So make your party menu, fire up the grill, and get ready for a day filled with sunshine, good food, and plenty of patriotic fun.

Things You Need for a 4th of July Party:

  • Food & Drinks: Have everyone bring something so you don’t have to make a lot of food. You can also make the party BYOB, so you don’t have to buy all of the adult beverages.
  • Decorations: Grab them online or DIY them! FYI: Mine are listed in the link below.
  • Fireworks: Get them at your local grocery store or fireworks shop or just stick with sparklers. Just be safe.
  • Games for the Kids or Adults: Play cornhole, trivia, or other family-friendly games. Just have fun!
