Something Wicked Halloween Garland
Decorate your space with a stylish, spooky Something Wicked Halloween garland! It brings vintage Halloween vibes with bold, gothic lettering. Perfect for mantels, doorways, or party backdrops. For more fun Halloween printables, see my Printables page.

I just made the coolest Halloween garland and had to tell you about it! It is mostly a fun, spooky font that says “Something Wicked,” and it’s totally printable!
It has this spooky-but-stylish vibe with a slightly vintage look that I absolutely love. The letters are bold, and each one has little gothic details that make it feel just the right amount of eerie. You can print it at home and either cut it out by hand or use a cutting machine with some spooky craft paper like I did.

Once I strung it up across my mantel, it completely transformed the room. It has this fun, witchy feel without being over-the-top or too kiddie.
It would look epic above a doorway or fireplace. You could even use it outside for a party backdrop! I love that it feels handmade but still really polished. Plus, it’s free, which always makes a project more fun, right?
If you’re decorating for Halloween and want something easy that makes a statement, this printable “Something Wicked” Halloween banner is it. It’s got that classic spooky vibe with a modern twist, and it’s super flexible for wherever you want to hang it. I’ll send you the link—you’re gonna want this one for sure!
I’m loving the creepy simplicity of this Something Wicked Garland; it goes so well with my white Spooky Shabby Rag Garland. Follow the link to the next post.
Something Wicked Halloween Garland
Supplies:
- Silhouette CAMEO , Cricut, or scissors
- 4 different patterns of cardstock
- Jute Twine
- Hot glue & gun
Click below to get the PDF. The “Witches Magic” font is for personal use only. For more info on its use, please contact the author.
Instructions:
I used my Silhouette Cameo to cut out my letters for this Halloween banner. The font I used is called Witches Magic. My letters are 6.25 inches tall.
But hey! Never fear!
- If you do not have a die-cut machine like a Cricut or Silhouette, you can print out the downloadable letters below on regular copy paper.
- Then lay the letters over a sheet of Halloween cardstock.
- Cut out around the letters using an X-Acto knife or sharp scissors.
- Glue the letter to a long string of jute twine, and that’s it!
I love the paper I used {see the S in Something}, the black and gold dots really catch the light and pop!

Love the unique lettering. It would be really cool if you could supply the whole alphabet and numbers too so that we could make our own custom garland with these awesome letters!
Another way you can print them yourself is just add the Witches Magic font to your computer and then use a Word document to print out the other letters you need.

I love this! I am in the middle of creating a Halloween garland and it is just not working out the way I want. The mix of spooky with rustic and tattered is awesome! My house is looking a mess right now. I am in the middle of getting the fall stuff out. The transition is never pretty.
Aw thanks Emily, I just walked around this morning thinking Just how many days are left until my party. I have a mountain of Halloween staring at me. Lol!
