Right now my house looks like a Halloween bomb went off, lol! I am in deep decorating mode for a Halloween Party I am hosting. This year I tried to come up with a theme in my dining room isn’t your ordinary Halloween store decor. The best part is, I created these lovelies with cardstock and twine I already had on hand.
I’m loving the creepy simplicity of this Something Wicked Garland it complements the white Spooky Shabby Rag Garland perfectly, follow the link to the next post.
Something Wicked Garland
Supplies:
- Silhouette CAMEO
- 4 different patterns of cardstock
- Jute Twine
- Hot glue & gun
Instructions:
I used my Silhouette Cameo to cut out my letters for this garland. The font I used is called Witches Magic. My letters are 6.25 inches tall.
But Hey! Never fear! If you do not have a die-cut machine like a Cricut or Silhouette you can print out the downloadable letters below on regular copy paper.
Then lay the letters over a sheet of patterned cardstock and cut-out around the letters using an X-Acto knife or sharp scissors.
Glue them to a long string of jute twine, and that’s it! I love the paper I used {see the S in Something}, the black and gold dots really catch the light and pop!
Click below to get the PDF. The Witches Magic font is for personal use only. For more info on its use please contact the author.
Love the unique lettering. It would be really cool if you could supply the whole alphabet and numbers too so that we could make our own custom garland with these awesome letters!
Another way you can print them yourself is just add the Witches Magic font to your computer and then use a Word document to print out the other letters you need.

I love this! I am in the middle of creating a Halloween garland and it is just not working out the way I want. The mix of spooky with rustic and tattered is awesome! My house is looking a mess right now. I am in the middle of getting the fall stuff out. The transition is never pretty.
