Haunting Halloween Bat Spooky Wispy Wreath
See how I changed my fall pumpkin wreath into this spooky wispy wreath. With a change in foliage and a little spray paint it’s easy to make this simple bat wreath! Check my Wreath page for more fun ideas!

Previously I made a super simple Harvest Pumpkin Autumn Wispy Wreath for my double front doors. When I bought the fall foliage to make it, I also bought some yellow foliage, orange feathers pumpkins, and four crows to make these haunting beauties.
If you read my other post you will see where I talk about how I have two front doors to decorate every year. This can get quite pricey. I came up with an easy way to decorate my doors through the seasons using one set of large wispy wreaths.
With a little spray paint, glitter and foliage changes you can have a different look from fall thru the holidays and on into winter.
All I did was change out the foliage from fall to Halloween. Painted the pumpkins and added some bats! Here’s how I did it~
Bat Wreath: Spooky Wispy Wreath
Supplies:
For 2 wreaths
- 4 bunches of long yellow fall foliage
- 2 small to medium pumpkins
- 4 orange feather pics
- 2 orange berry pics
- 4 small faux crows
Instructions:
Although silver pumpkins are on trend this year, I spray painted the pumpkins white for a more eerie look. I think the white makes them pop right out of the wreath and makes them look haunting. Pull out the stem, spray paint the pumpkins and let them dry.
Remove the old fall foliage and keep it for the next holiday version of this wreath. Add the yellow stems and orange feather picks. Replace the pumpkins into the side of the wreaths. Add the bats and you are done! So simple but what an impact!
Love it! Pin it!
