From here on out it is going to be a hot hot summer! In my 4th of July Printable Supply Kit post last week I made some cute hand fans to share with your guests and beat the heat at your patriotic parties.

Well, the heat doesn’t stop there it goes on until mid September. So I made some cute hand fans you can use anywhere. Great for sports events, backyard parties, chilling by the pool or any other steamy adventure you have in-store this summer.

Just throw them in your tote bag or leave them in your car and your always ready to keep cool!

DIY Summer Hand Fan

Print out two copies on cardstock. Cut out both fans with sharp scissors. Glue a paint stick or large craft stick to the center back of one side then glue the other side over it. Hot glue works the best for me.

    Kim,
These are fantastic. I’m trying to make some for a neighborhood reunion and would like to print all of the families names on one side and the Reunion name and date on the other side. How would I edit the print on the fan. Thanks, Karen

    1. Hi Karen,
My printables are not editable. You would have to upload the pdf file to a photo editing program to add the text.

  3. Those fans are so cute and easy. I remember a few years ago we came off the Metro stop at the National Mall in D.C. and some one was handing out fans similar to yours due to the heat. Your article brought back good memories!

I love this printable! It’s fancy enough that I feel like it’ll add some pop to the stands of a sporting event. Imagine a whole row of people on a bench at a local game… Very colorful! Thank you for sharing! – Jerusha, TheDisneyChef.com
