Is it just me, or do kids start asking, “How many days until Halloween?” the minute October arrives? This Trick or Treat Halloween Countdown makes waiting for the big night a little more fun.

Instead of answering that question every morning, kids can keep track themselves while watching Halloween get closer and closer. Plus, there is an extra trick-or-treating checklist to make sure you are prepared for everything while out roaming the neighborhood.

You can also turn the countdown into a simple Halloween activity by making it part of your October traditions. Check off the day after school, before bedtime, or whenever everyone gathers around the calendar.

Just print it out, hang it somewhere the kids can easily see it, and start counting down to October 31st. The only downside? I can’t promise it will stop them from asking when it’s time to go trick-or-treating!

Click the link below to download the PDF to print.
Print the templates out using white cardstock. Use the printer setting US Letter. Use the borderless paper setting on your printer to get the designs to go to the edge of the pages.
Color in the camera and animals.
Trim on the “cut lines” using a paper cutter or scissors.
