Here is my winter holiday version of my wispy wreath. I guess it just goes to show that you can repurpose these great wreaths all year! Not sure yet if I’ll make one for spring, but ya never know! Click these links to see my Autumn Wispy Wreath and Halloween Spooky Wispy Wreath. and my new Golden Harvest Wispy Wreath. Here’s how I made this one~
Winter Wispy Wreath
- Krylon white primer spray paint
- white flat spray paint
- White Santa Snow Spray
- spray glitter
- mini pine cone stems
- small foliage
- faux icy stem branch
- 4 inch bird nest
- 6pk Red Cardinal Feather Bird, 3-Inch
- wire cutters
- Floral wire
- hot glue and gun
Then spray two coats of white spray paint. Right after the last blast of white paint, when it it still wet, spray a coat of spray snow and glitter, that way the snow will stick better. I had a lot of fun with the spray snow. I wanted to spray everything with it! So fun!!
Next add the stems. Place the berries and pine cone stems around circle and add the nest. Spray them and wreath again with the White spray paint, snow and glitter. Add your birds and small foliage. And that’s it! Instant Christmas! Love those Red Birds!
I gave this wreath to a friend in NY, lol! ~glad it made it there safely!
