I am lovin all the Geometric wall art trending in home decor these days. I joined the Disc Blitz Challenge by FloraCraft® and I knew I could create some great wall art for my forever-changing decor! I chose triangles in a simple modern pattern mixed with black, gold and pink accents. This is a simple project using great products that make working with Make It: Fun Foam® even easier.
Modern Triangle Geo Wall Art
Supplies:
- FloraCraft® Make It: Fun® Foam Discs, 2 -12 inch discs, 2 -10 inch discs, 2 -8 inch discs, 2 -6 inch discs, 2 -4 inch discs
- FloraCraft® Smooth Finish®
- FloraCraft® Make It: Fun® Foam Cutter
- Acrylic paint in black, gold, light peach and pink
- Sand paper
- Paint brushes
- Spatula
Instructions:
I made triangle guides to cut out each triangle from the circular foam discs. Below is a great FREE Printable so you can make the triangles too!
Just download the PDF and print out 5 copies. Cut out each triangle and lay them on top of your foam disc and cut.
Just download the PDF and print out 5 copies. Cut out one of each size of the triangles.
Place the triangle guide over the disc and using the FloraCraft® Make It: Fun® Foam Cutter gently saw and slice off the section of foam in a straight line. Repeat and cut out all of the discs.
With a spatula apply FloraCraft® Smooth Finish® to the front and side of foam triangles in thin layers, building them up to cover the foam. Let them dry overnight.
Gently sand each triangle to make it smooth and so all the angles are straight.
Line up your triangles into the configuration that will be hung wall. Paint one side of all triangle with peach acrylic paint. Let it dry overnight so the Smooth Finish® and paint are completely dry. Next tape off half of the triangle with painters tape. Press down on tape and smooth out over triangle, so you will not get paint bleed through.
Paint the black, gold and pink sections. Remove the tape immediately after you covered all the foam with paint, this will prevent paint bleed through. Let them dry completely and hang them on the wall. You can use command strips or glue wall hangers on back of each triangle.
And that’s it! I love how these turned out, they are so modern and cool. The pink one is my favorite, it just pops!

Hi Kim
Thank you for this tutorial. I love your wall, simple but of effect.
Absolutely love these colors! So bright! I admit, for the longest time I was never a gold fan – but then it became “en vogue” and apparently I’ve just never seen it matched with other colors well, ha! :D
Wow, this is beautiful! I love this wall art! Thank you
