I love the look of bling on pumpkins. This year instead of using the usual glitter I decided to add some chunky confetti to my faux pumpkins.
I wanted there to be a striking contrast to the sparkle of the confetti so I painted my pumpkins with satin white spray paint. The white base background made the confetti pop!
They are super easy to make. Just a little glue and a bag of confetti and your pumpkins come alive! I hope you like them! Here’s how I did it~
How to make Confetti Pumpkins
Supplies:
- Elmer’s Glue or any kind of adhesive that dries clear
- Faux pumpkins, various sizes
- White Satin Spray Paint, or purchase white faux pumpkins
- Confetti in Various Colors
- Sponge Applicator
Instructions:
Remove your stems and spray paint your pumpkins. Let them dry.
Paint the top of your pumpkins with glue and down the middle of the humps of the pumpkin. I put my confetti on a paper plate and sprinkled it over the pumpkin.
To get the confetti to look like it drips down, I took the sponge applicator and put dots of glue and added the confetti with my fingers.
Fill in any holes by adding more glue and confetti. Let them dry and replace the stems.
And that’s it! This is such a simple fast project that could be a great kids project too!
Love this idea!! Thanks so much for stopping by!!
Hugs,
Debbie

Sooo pretty! Love these!!
Hello! I just found your blog and I love these!! I love all things shiny and I have yet to decorate for fall (I blame it on being 35 weeks pregnant). As I get ready for maternity leave and am working on my classroom organization (I’m an art teacher), I ran across a bucket of rhinestones that I bought years ago. I’m thinking they may have finally found a purpose instead of sitting at work. Thanks for the inspiration!
These are SOOOO adorable! I love a little bling in my Halloween/Fall decor. ;)

You know for the longest time I didn’t care for white pumpkins, I mean, they’re supposed to be orange! But as I get older and want things to tie into my decor more and more, I love the idea. Pretty sure that I’m going to be following your lead and making some of these beauties for myself. Love, love, love. And thanks a bunch for linking up :)
I love them! I’ve been obsessing over the white pumpkins this fall, and the touch of confetti is the perfect touch of sparkle. Great job! – Dee @ From Wine to Whine
I am a total sequin junky right now, so this is right up my alley! Would it be too much to confetti the entire thing, then confetti some fake autumn leaves? Like, bedazzle everything for Fall? Maybe I should just stick to the tutorial you’ve presented.
These are so fun, Kim. I love them. I’m going to do something with pumpkins. Not sure what yet. :) So happy to visit and see such wonderful pumpkins. I want some. :) Linda
