The Easter Bunny is here and he’s brought a delicious treat! Everyone loves a sweet breakfast treat, and these Easter Bunny Cinnamon Rolls are sure to be a hit with your guests.

These fluffy, buttery rolls are baked with buttery cinnamon flavor and shaped into sweet bunny-bunnies. Top them with a squirt to whipped cream for the perfect Easter brunch, snack or dessert.

With very few ingredients and a little preparation, you can easy whip up these homemade treats in minutes. These are prefect for baking with kids. Have them shape the dough into the bunnies and add the whipped cream at the end!

This recipe can also be made ahead of time to make your holiday easier. Just pop them in the microwave to reheat them and add the whipped cream!

Can I use Canned Cinnamon Rolls for this Recipe?

Yes! Just unroll the rolls and follow my directions on how to wrap the dough into bunny shapes. Glaze with the glaze that comes in the package instead of topping with whipped cream.

Easter Bunny Cinnamon Rolls

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 pkg frozen puff pastry
  • 2 tbsp melted butter
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • whipped cream, canned or homemade

INSTRUCTIONS

  • Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside.
  • Let the puff pastry thaw and unfold it onto a cutting board.

  • Spread the melted butter on one piece of the puff pastry, leaving a half inch on top and bottom.

  • In a small bowl mix together the cinnamon and sugar and sprinkle it on top of the melted butter.

  • Lay the second piece of puff pastry on top of the cinnamon sugared puff pastry.
  • Crimp the top and bottom of the pastries together with a fork
  • Using a pizza cutter, cut 15 strips of puff pastry.

  • To assemble the bunnies, first place a strip of pastry in a U shape.
  • Fold one side over the other and repeat two more times.
  • Press each twist firmly down on the prepared baking sheet so that each strip twisted and resembles a bunny shape.
  • Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
  • Once completely cooled, spray a small amount of whipped cream in the u shape at the bottom of the twist to resemble a bunny tail.
