Long Dangle Suede Fringe Earrings
Supplies:
- 1/8 inch Suede Leather Lace: Dark Brown
- Polyester Thread: Brown
- Hot Glue & Gun
- Gold Earring Hoop: Small 15mm (Michaels + Walmart)
- Gold Earring Hooks
Instructions:
Cut 4 strips of suede leather cording, cut two strips to 12 inches and two strips to 14 inches.
Pull them through the small earring loop.
Bunch up one end of the (4) suede strips and loop it back through the earring hoop. Pull the strands down and arrange them so they are uneven.
Lay the suede strips evenly in a row at the top edge of the hoop.
Tie a piece of thread around the top suede strips. Add a dot of hot glue to the knot to keep it tight while working with the leather cording.
Wrap the thread around the suede strips and then hot glue the end to secure the thread tightly.
Trim the loops of suede strips on the bottom unevenly.
Add an earring hook to the earring hoop, fluff the suede, and repeat for the other earring.

If you look in the supply list it says that the leather is 1/8 inch Suede Leather Lace or cording. I have provided a link to Amazon where I buy mine. You can find it at craft stores as well.

Trying to find the hoop part to put the suede in. Any advice?

I added an Amazon link to the hoops in my post. You can also find them at Walmart or Michaels. They come in sets of random sizes. I hope this helps.

Hi! Love these…the suede lace that I bought is too stiff. Do you have any recommendations for how I could soften the suede?

The suede will soften as you wear it. You could try wetting it and see how it dries, sometimes that helps break down the stiffness. I hope this helps.
