Asian cabbage salad with ginger dressing the perfect summer dish that is perfect for a quick lunch. Made in a snap with a pre-made salad mix with ginger dressing. See more light recipes on my Salad page.
Ya’ll this is one of my all time favorite lunches! It can also be a great side dish for BBQs too!
I have made this salad from scratch before, but it requires a lot of ingredients. With some help from a pre-packaged salad mix, I figured out a way to skip all the dicing and chopping.
You can find these pre-made salads in the produce department in the mixed lettuce section. I like the Walmart Marketplace brand Asian slaw. To me it has the best ginger dressing, plus precut cilantro and green onions are already included in the mix.
Take the ingredients in the slaw mix package and add chicken, edamame, and honey to make it more like homemade. I have this slaw for lunch all the time. Here’s your warning! it can get really addicting!
