Have you ever tried a spicy Bang Bang Shrimp appetizer? Well, let me tell you, they are delish. I’ve lived in Florida for the majority of my life and loved going to Bonefish Grill restaurant for a monthly fix of some Bang Bang shrimp!

We haven’t had this dish in a while, so last night we tried this recipe sent to me by my father-in-law. This recipe is pretty darn close to the real thing.

We loved the crust the cornstarch makes on the shrimp; it’s definitely coastal seafood restaurant quality, with a light, crunchy coating. It is the best Southern fried shrimp batter I have ever tried.

The shrimp came out perfect! Add the sriracha drizzle, and it is a perfect match to Bonefish’s bang bang shrimp recipe.

Even if you haven’t tried Bonefish’s version, I know this recipe will become a family favorite. It can be a little spicy for young children, so serve it without the sauce for dipping for them.

There is a lot going on in this recipe, so let’s get started.
