Southern Fried Bang Bang Shrimp (Bonefish copy)
Looking for a way to make one of the yummiest restaurant appetizers at home? This Copycat Bang Bang Shrimp Recipe has the perfect fried crust and sweet chili sauce drizzle! A must try! For more great finger food see my Appetizers page.

Have you ever tried the spicy Bang Bang Shrimp from The Bonefish Grill? Well, let me tell you they are delish. I’ve lived in Florida for the majority of my life and loved going to this yummy restaurant for a monthly fix of some Bang Bang!
We haven’t had this dish in a while so last night we tried this recipe sent to me by my father-in-law. This recipe is pretty darn close to the real thing. We loved the crust the cornstarch makes on the shrimp, it’s definitely coastal seafood restaurant quality, with a light crunchy coating. It is the best southern fried shrimp batter I have ever tried.
The shrimp came out perfect! It is a perfect copycat bang bang shrimp recipe. Even if you haven’t tried Bonefish’s version I know this recipe will become a family favorite. It can be a little spicy for young children so serve it without the sauce for dipping for them. Enjoy!
