Since we moved to the beach I’ve had such a hard time decorating with traditional fall leaf decorations. There’s not a brown leaf in site around here and my succulents are thriving better than ever in the heat.

I have adapted by still having touches of fall by adding cozy pillows and pumpkins to my decor. Then I chose other decor pieces like a silk tree, woven blanket baskets, a fringed basket, and a gorgeous carved wood plant stand that has all the vibes of a tropical escape.

Let’s take a mini tour of my coastal decor ideas!

First up is this set of wicker baskets with black fabric roping on top. They are the perfect size for storing cozy throws. They also make great plant holders. Plus they’re collapsable if you need to store them away.

My new fav pillow! This “Hey there pumpkin” is such a cute new trend this year. You will be seeing that saying on everything this season. The stripes make it perfect for fall coastal decor! It has a beachy cabana feel!

I have been wanting a real Travelers Palm for my living room. The area I wanted to place it is shaded and dark so this silk palm is the perfect choice for those places where the sun does not shine!

The leaves on this palm are so realistic. It brings the perfect pop of color to my grey fireplace.

I am in love with this cool black and tan woven basket with fringe. It adds a bit of funky boho to the decor. The roundness makes it unique and super cute!

My absolute favorite piece is this carved wood plant holder. It just screams tropical to me! I am in love. I am pretty sure I can use it for more than a plant stand.

Here’s another view of the wicker baskets. I just love the fur poms on this cozy chenille throw. Aren’t they adorable?
