But what makes this recipe so irresistible is the Everything Bagel seasoning! You can find this popular seasoning in on stores like Trader Joe’s or your local supermarket. It has a ton of seasoning flavors in it. It’s going to make your pumpkin shaped cheeseball pop!

Pumpkin Shaped Cheeseball

This pumpkin shaped cheeseball is the perfect fall appetizer! Made with cream cheese, cheddar cheese, and a few simple spices, it is sure to be a hit at your next party or gathering. Serve it with crackers or bread for a delicious and easy snack that everyone will love.

INGREDIENTS  

  • 1 8oz cream cheese block at room temperature
  • 2 cups cheddar cheese, shredded
  • ½ cup Everything Bagel seasoning
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • crackers of your choice

INSTRUCTIONS

  • Add cream cheese and shredded cheddar to a large mixing bowl.
  • Use a mixer to blend the two cheeses together until well blended.
  • Use a spatula to crape the sides of the bowl push the cheese mixture together.
  • Transfer cheese mixture to the center of a large sheet of clear plastic wrap.
  • Fold the plastic wrap around the mixture to create a round pumpkin shape.
  • Refrigerate the wrapped mixture for 2 hours or until it has hardened.

  • Place the Everything Bagel seasoning into a bowl.
  • Unwrap the cheeseball and add it the bowl with the seasoning. Roll the ball in the bagel seasoning until it is well covered.
  • Using the back of a butterknife, score the cheese ball to give it the lines of a pumpkin.

  • Push the cinnamon stick into the top of the pumpkin for a stem.
  • Add the pumpkin cheese ball to a plate and surround it with your favorite crackers and enjoy!

MAKE AHEAD: Place the cheese ball in an airtight container.
FREEZER: You can freeze cream cheese but I can not say whether or not it will be ok after thawing. Freeze at your own risk. Place the cheeseball in an airtight container. Freeze for up to 2 months. Defrost in refrigerator.

NOTES

TIP: Store bought Shredded cheese may not incorporate as well as cheese shredded from a block. For best results shred the cheese manually.
To make a bigger pumpkin just double the recipe!
