Love a fun pop of neon color in the summer? Since I was a teen in the 80’s neon colors are right up my alley. Today I am going to show you how to make this stackable cuff bracelet wrapped with colorful embroidery floss.
First, let me tell you how I came up with these cuties. One of my fav places to shop online is Madewell. While combing through the clearance section, I found a super cute string wrapped cuff bracelet and I was two seconds clicking “add to cart” when I glanced at the reviews.
That was the sad moment when I realized the store’s version is cute but way too small for an average wrist. And well, being that I am super crafty, I decided to make my own version of this seriously easy fashion find, fabric wrapped cuff.
Grab your embroidery floss and let’s get wrapping!

Colorful Wrapped Cuff Bracelet
Supplies:
- (2) Gold Cuff Bracelets
- Embroidery Floss: Colors: #1 Navy, Green, Neon Orange, Mint, Light Teal #2 Rust, Peach, Neon Yellow, White, Melon
- Jewelry Adhesive: Gorilla Glue Clear Grip
- Sharp Scissors
- Toothpicks
Instructions:
Choose the floss for your bracelet.
Using a toothpick, add a small dot of adhesive to the inside of the cuff around inches from the end.
Add one end of your embroidery floss to the dot of adhesive. Press it into the glue and let it sit for 30 seconds. When it feels snug start wrapping the floss around the bangle.
Trim the end of the embroidery string so it finishes under the bottom edge of the cuff.
Add a dot of glue to cuff and press the end down. Let it dry. Choose your next color and repeat.
After you have all of the colors wrapped, add some adhesive to the end of a toothpick and coat it by rolling it across the floss on the inside of the cuff only. Cover all of the inner string with adhesive. Let it dry overnight before wearing.
