There’s nothing quite like the taste of homemade restaurant salsa. It’s got just the right amount of heat, and the perfect balance of flavors. Best of all, it’s so easy to make at home! Here are all the tips and tricks you need to create your own delicious restaurant salsa. For more recipes like these see my Mexican food page.

Salsa is one of those condiments that everyone seems to love. It’s the perfect way to spruce up tacos, fajitas, nachos, burritos, quesadillas, or any Mexican dish really. Plus, it’s so easy to make at home. In fact, I prefer homemade salsa to jar salsa. It just has such a great fresh taste.

I use crushed canned tomatoes, fresh tomatoes, jalapenos, cilantro, and red onions. This is our favorite zesty salsa that mimics the finely minced salsa you get served with chips at Mexican restaurants.

If you’re looking for an irresistible homemade restaurant salsa recipe, look no further. This recipe is sure to please all of your taste buds. So get ready to enjoy the best salsa ever!

How to Make a Smoother Restaurant Style Salsa in a Blender

Add all ingredients to a blender or food processor and pulse until you get the smooth or chunky texture and consistency you like. For a thicker salsa drain the canned tomatoes first.

Can you use diced tomatoes instead?

Yes! The salsa will be chunkier but you can place it in a blender or food processor to blend it up so it is a finer consistency. I have also used Fire Roasted crushed tomatoes and it came out great!

TOOLS NEEDED
